Darjeeling (88 km/3 hrs drive). Day 1 begins with your arrival at the destination. You can take a train from any part of India to New Jalpaiguri which is well connected and is the closest railway station to Darjeeling. You can also arrive to Bagdogra airport if you catch a flight. Our representative will arrive there and receive you and take you to Darjeeling which is at an altitude of 2134 meters. You can check into the hotel and at Darjeeling and relax for the rest of the evening. You will be given a warm welcome in the cool hill station.

After an overnight stay at the hotel, we will get up on Day 2 early in the morning at around 4 am so we can get on our way to see the sunrise above the world’s third highest peak – Mt. Kanchenjunga. We drive over to Tiger Hill which is at a height of 2590 metres and get to be a part of this beautiful marvel of nature. When we are returning from the sunrise, we will go and see the Ghoom monastery which is nearby and is even cooler due to its higher altitude. Then we will go visit the Batasia Loop which is a war memorial and a great place to see the toy train going and coming. After stopping for a quick breakfast, we will go visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute to learn about mountaineering. Then we will visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and the Tenzing Rock, an outside view of the Chitrey Tea Garden, Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. At the end of the day, we will go to Chowrasta and Mall Road for a relaxing stroll in the late evening with some shopping if needed.

After resting well for a night, we will have breakfast and then start on our drive to Gangtok. On the way, we will stop for some delicious tea at Lopchuand then we can see the spot where River Teesta and the River Rangit meet and the sight is beautiful to see. We will help you check in to a hotel at Gangtok after which you can take a good walk at MG Marg and then retire for the night.

Gangtok (Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir). Half the tour is over but the best is yet to come. We will start after breakfast in the morning and go for a 3 hour drive towards the Tsomgo Lake and Baba HarbhajanMandir. A lot of locals feel that the lake is sacred. We will be back in Gangtok by evening and you can rest for the night.

There is a nearly 6 hour drive after your breakfast as we go to Pelling. The journey will be very comfortable and also you can enjoy the scenic beauty on both sides of the road. You can enjoy nature at its best. You will check into a great hotel in Pelling and relax for the rest of the day.

The last but one day will be dedicated to the local sightseeing at Pelling which has a great waterfall at Rimb and Kanchenjunga, a view of Darap valley, the rock garden and also a sacred lake at Khecheopalri. After lunch we will go see the Pema Yangtse monastery, see a helipad ground and also the famous Rabdents ruins after which you can have a great evening in Pelling and go to bed.

The tour is complete and you have had a glimpse of heaven on earth. On the last day you can go on to either the NJP railway station or the IXB airport and go home after a great week of fun and joy. You will love us so much that you will want to come back for more and more such tours.
